Multi touching music
|
A warm welcome on my personal website. My name is Gabriel Gatzsche. I'm the inventor of SoundPrism and cofounder of Audanika. On this website I provide information about interesting things arround mobile multi touch based music creation, improvisation and composition. My personal dream is to develop musical tools that help you to encounter the faszination of active music creation. Many people didn't have the chance to attend to the music school. Others didn't have the time or patience to practise for years before first reasonable musical results can be presentend. For all of that people a new musical age begins: With multi touch devices like the iPad or the iPhone completely new possibilities to learn, create, understand and teach music are available. To discover and making these possibilities accessible thats my goal. |
Audanika Harmony Theory Blog starts today
Today a personal dream comes true: Together with my brother David I will start to present the content of my german doctoral thesis to an international audience. Supported by SoundPrism Pro we will introduce a novel harmony theory framework, called symmetry model. We hope that both – SoundPrism and the symmetry model – will ease the understanding of harmony theory. We are looking forward to welcome you at our blog. For my fellow countrymen, there is also a german version.
AudioBus
Together with Michael Tyson from Tasty Pixels my CEO Sebastian Dittmann has been working on a new technology called AudioBus. AudioBus makes it possible to create music in one app and stream it in realtime it to another one. Thus it is possible play music with SoundPrism while recording it in Loopy. Additionally AudioBus allows it to insert filters into the signal chain. Great apps like Sunrizer, NLog, Loopy or SoundPrism have already added AudioBus support. Korg, Steinberg and Moog will probably follow. For more information have a look at www.audiob.us, twitter.com/audiobusapp, facebook.com/AudiobusApp or the following review by Mitch Gallagher
